Advisory Board

Like you and your business, FEWA is always looking to improve its service and provide a greater return on investment. FEWA wants to ensure it continues to deliver what members value most. FEWA Members provide input about FEWA programs via the Advisory Board.

Members of the Advisory Board are required to:
1) Represent the interests of your industry in the planning and direction of FEWA programming;
2) Promote the forming of alliances between FEWA and organizations specifically serving your industry;
3) Participate in FEWA membership development programs; and
4) Identify, recruit, and mentor the next wave of FEWA leaders.

The ability of FEWA to best serve the needs of members and the greater H2A & H2B communities is heightened by the volunteers who serve on the Advisory Board.

FEWA continues to deliver what members value most through participation in the association’s new Advisory Board. The inaugural meeting was held January 26, 2006 at the Employer Educational & Leadership Conference in Cozumel, Mexico.

The Advisory Board works toward fostering: 1) an interactive forum for communicating the concerns of the various regions, industries, sizes and compositions of FEWA members to staff; 2) outreach efforts targeting development of working relationships between various industry, state and national associations and of FEWA staff; 3) maximizing the association’s ability to deliver tangible benefits to its worker and employer members.
