The Federation of Employers and Workers of America Political Action Committee is dedicated to the identification, recruitment and/or support of candidates who have taken positions supportive of FEWA legislative priorities. Your contributions help create a united voice to the legislators and compel them to listen to the needs and concerns affecting your company’s labor needs. It is only through the support of FEWA members and affiliates that we have stood and will continue to stand on the forefront of labor issues to get them resolved. Ø Gain access to key legislators Ø Support FEWA campaigns, such as contacting legislators and holding in-district meetings Who can contribute to FEWA - PAC Ø Contributors must be individual citizens, no corporations may contribute Ø Contributors must be employed by a member of FEWA in either an executive or administrative capacity Ø Contributors must fax the members company’s permission form* to FEWA, Attn: April McKinney at 979-245-8969 *For members who are corporations the permission form must be filled out by the chief executive or president. Treasure Contributions to FEWA – PAC are subject to the prohibitions and limitations of the Federal Election Campaign Act. That law prohibits federal contributions from corporations, labor unions, and foreign nationals who are not admitted for permanent residence. All contributions must be made from personal funds. Contributions are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes.
